Jon Prosser, a reliable Apple source, has leaked that the MacBook Air 2021 will come in a range of colours including blue and green, as well as silver, grey and gold.

  • A Better Webcam The MacBook Air's new webcam is only 720p. This isn’t very impressive. We prefer clearer videos with a maximum HD (1080p!) webcam.
  • More colors: At the moment, the MacBook Air comes in three colors: space grey, silver, or gold. It is time for a change. Apple might be inspired by iPad Air, available in silver space grey rose gold, sky blue, green and other colors.
  • More Ports - While we don’t anticipate this changing, it wouldn’t hurt to wish for it. The MacBook Air has two Thunderbolt/USB 4 ports, and a headphone socket. A full-size USB A port or an SD Card slot would also be great, but we heard that the latter will be included in the new MacBook Pro 2021.
  • Thinner bezels: Apple finally acknowledged the importance and design of thinner bezels with the 16-inch MacBook Pro. However, the Air has remained the same since. Reduce those borders to make sure you have the same amount screen real estate in a smaller chassis.

The MacBook Air's 2021 Price

The MacBook Air is the most affordable option when it comes to joining Apple's Mac family. The new Air will be priced at $999 but the price for the upgraded model will go up.
