 Google I/O 2021 is a must-see event for everyone. They will be expecting major announcements and major products. Carbon Freedom

Google plans to become completely carbon-free by 2030. Google is using load shifting to reduce the environmental impact. Google will be setting up a new geothermal plant to serve as data centers. It will also include Dragon solar panels that can be used for heating and colling.

Project Starline:

Project Starline makes video conferencing feel more in-the-same room, and more lifelike when people are generated by 3D imaging. This is the place where patents for light field imaging were filed.

Derm Assist:

Google is working on an AI to answer your question "What's wrong with my skin?" It will be available in the EU by the end this year.

Camera fixes skin colour issues

Google's AI is not able to help with this issue. The camera does a poor job of handling white balance issues for non-white faces. Google is working to improve capture and computational photography algorithms for dark skin tones, curly hair, and other conditions. The update will be first available on the Pixel phones, and then it will be available to the entire Android ecosystem in the autumn.

The New Wear OS Updates:

A new partnership is hot right now. The collaboration between Google, Samsung and Fitbit will make wearables more useful. Wear OS and Tizen will bring their best to the table, and cross-platform compatibility can help you get a longer battery life. If you choose a photo for your background, the system will create custom palettes for you based upon the colors in the photo and use the hues throughout the interface. New experiences and the interface will be available for the first time in pixel phones. Performance of Google Apps will be improved as well as the operating system.

Google has centralized all privacy controls, making it easy to toggle camera and mic settings.

Every moment has its little patterns

This is the new image that the machine learning finds in similar photos to create pattern-based memories it gives you privately. This will allow pictures to have cinematic moments that can be used to create one moving image across all photos. Google also offers the ability to hide people and periods from your memory.

Work from home:

People still work from home due to the pandemic. Smart Canvas, an update to Google Workspace, uses more AI for language integration. This will allow you to integrate various things such as Docs, sheets and slides.

Google Meet will soon get a companion mode. It will now use its built-in AI for automatic zooming camera views, best face display, and custom views.

Google Meet is available to all users, not just those working for enterprises.

Google Lens Upgrade

The Google Lens AI has received a buff. Google Lens will now be able provide more information. Google Lens now offers learning resources in another language if you take a picture of a science problem.

Smart Maps
