Microsoft Reveals the Future of Office with Fluid Frameworks: - www.office.com/setup

Microsoft has released a preview version of Fluid Framework, its new tool that allows teams to work together on tasks, schedules and tables. The new web-based platform allows you to collaborate with your team online on documents, much like Google Docs. Fluid Framework allows you to access all Microsoft Office apps from one place. What can you do with Microsoft Fluid? 

Microsoft Fluid, just like Google Docs allows you to collaborate with your team members via the internet. You can, for example, share a document with a team member and they will have the ability to make changes to it. You can also work simultaneously on the same document, and you'll be able see any changes made by your team members in real-time.

To add other members to your schedules or lists, you can tag them. You can also tag other members of your team to alert them each time you add their name. This will allow you to get things done faster.

Use One Platform to Access Many File Types

Microsoft Fluid, unlike Google Docs makes it simple to access different types of content from one platform. You can create a table with action plans and then add a document, list, or file underneath it.

Microsoft Fluid allows you to access your calendars, documents and tables from anywhere. All of them are available on Microsoft Fluid so everyone can see and collaborate on them.

Use Outlook and Other Apps

Microsoft Fluid allows you to create projects and embed them on other platforms. You can also edit the project. This is currently only possible with Microsoft Teams and Outlook. Microsoft promises that this will soon be possible with chat apps and third-party email clients. 

All changes made by you and your coworkers will be posted in these chat threads, or anywhere else they are located. Let's take, for example, a Microsoft Fluid graph in a chat thread. Any member of your team can then make edits to the graph right from their chat thread. You don't need to go to another app in order to make edits.

How to Use Microsoft Fluid Framework

The Fluid Framework is still in development. To see the potential of Fluid Framework for collaboration and productivity, you can now access a preview version. Microsoft Enterprise subscribers and educators have access to this tool at the moment. However, Microsoft promises that it will soon be available for everyone.

Upcoming Microsoft Updates

Microsoft will be updating and adding new products to its Fluid Framework in the next few months. Outlook users will soon be able to use Yammer chat threads to reply and get text prediction. Microsoft Teams will allow you to create customization templates, chatbot management, and schedule meetings.

Microsoft has also added a new app called Lists. This app helps you organize and keep track of important information for your business. This isn't your average list-making app. Microsoft's new app allows you to convert your lists into image galleries or calendars. It can be customized and used as a collaborative tool.
