Where to Enter your Microsoft Office Product Key? - www.office.com/setup
If your office product key was included when you purchased Microsoft Office or Microsoft 365, enter your product key at www.office.com/setup one of the following websites that correspond to your product: After entering the key, you can download or install Office, or renew your Microsoft Office 365 subscription.
If there is a trouble with the product key
Microsoft Office 365, Office 2016, Office 2013 and Office 2019 (PC and Mac)
To activate the new Office you purchased
Method 1: Go to office.com/setup or Microsoft365.com/setup.
Method 2: Sign in with your Microsoft Office account or create one if you don't have one. Be sure to remember this account so that you can install or reinstall Office in the future without using your product key.
Important: If you're renewing your Microsoft 365 subscription, enter the Microsoft account associated with your subscription. I forgot my Microsoft account.
Method 3: When prompted, enter your product key without hyphens. If you don't see the option to enter your product key, it's entered automatically.
Method 4: Follow the instructions to complete the usage process.
Install or reinstall Office
If you get the error "This product key is already in use" when you enter your product key at www.office.com/setup or support.office.com/setup 365, your product key has already been redeemed. It is no longer needed.
Instead, use your Microsoft account to sign in to account.microsoft.com and install the Office product.

Microsoft HUP
The following steps apply only to Office Professional Plus, Visio Professional, or Project Professional.
Method 1: Launch an Office app such as Word, Project, or Visio, depending on your purchase.
Method 2: In the Sign in and set up Office window, select Neither sign in nor create an account (small link at the bottom of the window).
Method 3: Enter your Office product key. No hyphens are needed. If you don't have a key, see Get a HUP Product Key.
Microsoft Store
Method 1: Go to ms-office.us.com and sign in with the Microsoft office account you used to purchase Office (upper right corner).
Method 2: After signing in, choose your name in the upper right corner and select Order History.
Method 3: Find the boxed Office or Office app and select Install Office to view the product key (not actually installing Office).
Method 4: In the window that displays your product key, select Install Office again.
Method 5: On the Let's Get Started page, follow the instructions to sign in again and link your product with your Microsoft Office account
Microsoft 365 Business Standard
Method 1: Go to www.office.com/setup
Method 2: Enter your Office product key. No hyphens are needed. Then select Next.
Method 3: Follow the instructions to complete the usage and setup process.
