Check for technical issues:
First you should check for the connection problems like cable is properly connected to your monitor and computer and also check for cable damage. You can also connect your computer to a different monitor and if it works properly this means that your monitor needs fixing. You should disconnect all external devices like cameras, phones, printers and then reboot your device. Corrupted hardware is also the reason for black screen with cursor. If you are using a laptop, then shut it down and just remove the battery. After this, press the Power button for 60 seconds and then you has to reequip the computer with batter, and try to login to Windows again.
Reboot in Safe Mode:
First you have to reboot your machine. When you see the Windows logo then just press the Power button on your PC just to interrupt the boot sequence. This process will automatically boot you into Advanced Startup mode. Now you have to select Troubleshoot option and then choose Advanced options. Then, you have to click on Startup Settings and then just Restart your computer. After this, you have to click on F5/5 to access Safe Mode with Networking Access Safe Mode. Disable Fast Startup option:
First you have to type in Control Panel in the search option and tap on Enter key. When Control Panel opens, you have to select the Small icons view. Now you have to click on Power Options. Here on the left side, you have to select Choose what the power buttons do. After this, just select the Change settings that are currently unavailable option. Now you have to uptick the Turn on fast startup option and then press on Save option. At last, reboot your device.
Reinstall graphic drivers:
You should reinstall the Graphic Drivers through the Device Manager. For this, first right-click on the Start button and then click on Device Manager. Now, you have to Expand the Display adapters section and then right-click on the currently installed driver. Then just click on Uninstall device. After this, you have to tick mark the Delete the driver software for this device. Here you have to click on Uninstall and then reboot your PC. Now once again you have to launch Device Manager. Just you have to click on Scan for hardware changes and reboot your device.
Restart Windows Explorer:
For this, just press Ctrl + Shift + ESC to open Task Manager. Now click on More Details. After this, just find Windows Explorer and then right-click on it. And then just select restart and it will restart Window Explorer.
Reinstall recent updates:
If updates not installed correctly then you have to uninstall recent Windows updates. For this, you have to type Control Panel in Windows search and just hit on Enter key. After this, you have to select Programs option and then Uninstall a program. Now you have to click on View installed updates. And then right click on recent update and just select Uninstall option. After this, just reboot your PC. Just right-click on Start option and click on Settings. Now you have to go to Update & Security option. Here you have to click on Check for updates and just installs newest updates. At last, reboot your device.
Reset your computer:
For this, you have to right-click on Start option and then select Settings. Now go to Update & Security option and then select Recovery. Here under Reset this PC, you have to click on Get Started option. Then click on Keep my files option. At the end, follow the instructions to complete the process.
