Lock Cells in Excel Spreadsheet:

First, you should choose entire cells in your Excel spreadsheet. Then, you should go to the Home tab and then go to cells. It will open a Format Cells dialogue box and in this dialog box, you should click on the Protection tab. Then, just un-select the option Locked. Now in your Excel file, the name of your sheet displays. You just have to make a right click from your mouse and then choose the View Code. It will open Microsoft Visual Basic for Applications dialogue box. Then in the opened white sheet, you should type the code. Now, in the written code, you should select the data range. When you enter the complete code, you should go to the Debug. There you will find a Run Sub/UserForm (F5) option and just click on it. Here, you will see that your Excel worksheet will open with a password window. At this point, you should write same the password which is allotted in the VBA code. When anyone tries to make changes in the specific cells of the Excel, then this will show you a warning message “you can’t edit the cells as it is protected”.

Unlock Specific Cells in a Worksheet:

You should select the locked cells which you want to unlock or modify. Then, just click on the “Home” tab and then click in the “Cells” area, and after this, just choose “Format” and then select “Format Cells“. Now, you should go to the “Protection” tab.  At this point, you should unmark the box which is next to “Locked” to unlock the cells. And then you should click on the “OK“ button.

Lock Formulas In Microsoft Excel:

First, you should unlock all the cells. Then, you should select all the cells which contain formulas. For this, you can use Go To Special option. Now, you should Lock these selected cells. After this, you should protect the worksheet. www.office.com/setup

Hide Formulas In Excel:

You should click on Control + A key from the keyboard just to select all the cells which is present in the worksheet. Then, you should go to the Home and then click on the Find & Select option. Now, from the drop-down menu you should select Go to Special. After this, you should select Formulas from the Go to Special option. Now, you should click on the OK button. Here, all the cells which contains the formulas get selected. At this point, press the Control + 1 to open the format cells dialog box. At the end, Format the Cells dialog box opens and then you should go to the Protection tab. Now, mark the Hidden option and then just click on the OK button.
