How to Turn off Protected Mode in Internet Explorer on Window? - www.office.com/setup

 As you all know that the Protected Mode in Internet Explorer helps to remove malicious software. This software secures your computer from unauthorized access of the hackers on your device. Internet Explorer Method:

First, you have to open Internet Explorer. Then from the command bar, you have to go to Tools and then just select Internet options. After this, you have to select the Security tab.  Disable Protected Mode in Internet Explorer through Windows Registry; for this, first you have to open Registry Editor. Then, you have to use the folder which is on the left to open the following key in the HKEY_CURRENT_USER hive:

\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Internet Settings\

Now in the Internet Settings key, you have to open the Zones sub key. After this, you have to open the numbered folder which corresponds to the zone which you want to disable Protected Mode in.

0: Local computer

1: Intranet

2: Trusted sites

3: Internet

4: Restricted sites

Then, you have to create a new REG_DWORD value called 2500 within the zone. Now, you have to open the new value and then set it as 3 to disable Protected Mode (0 enables it). www office com setup

You should know that the Protected Mode isn't available with Internet Explorer which is installed on Windows XP. But, Windows Vista is the previous operating system which supports it. You can try other ways to open Internet Options just to change the Protected Mode setting. One method is with Control Panel, in the Run dialog box you have to enter the inetcpl.cpl command. Another method is through Internet Explorer's menu button which is located at the top right hand side of the program (you have to press Alt+X keyboard shortcut). You should always keep your Internet Explorer software updated. You should always remember that the Protected Mode is disabled by default only in the Trusted sites and Local intranet zones, that is why you should manually uncheck the Enable Protected Mode checkbox in the Internet and Restricted sites zones. There are some versions of Internet Explorer which uses Enhanced Protected Mode available in the Internet Options window, just under the Advanced tab. In case, you enable Enhanced Protected Mode in Internet Explorer, then you should restart your computer system.
