Causes Of Outlook Email Stuck in Outbox:

The causes of this error are if you entered a wrong Outlook login password, if your Outlook accounts have some problems with the mail server, if you send the email message with the attachment beyond the size limit, may be because of a technical error and also if antivirus or firewall software is scanning your Outlook email account which creates a problem.

Solution To Fix Outlook Email Stuck in Outbox:

  1. Check Your Outlook Password is Correct:

For this, first you have to open your Outlook email account and then go to the ‘File’ option. From the drop down options, you have to click in the ‘Account Settings’. Now, you have to again select the ‘Account Settings’ option and open it. Then you have to go to your ‘Your Account’ and then double-click on it to change. After this, click on ‘Data Files Properties’ option and then extend its options. Now open the ‘Advanced’ option and then go to ‘Change Password’.  Here you have to type the ‘Current Password’ and then enter the New Password. After this, re-enter the same password again and then click on ‘Change Password’.  

  1. Start Outlook in Safe Mode:

For this, you have to close all the open windows and then press ‘Windows’ and ‘R’ keys on your keyboard altogether to open the ‘Run’ dialogue box. Now, in the Run dialogue box, you have to write ‘outlook.exe/safe’ and click on ‘Ok’ button. Then you should select your ‘Outlook Profile’ by your name and then click on Default Outlook. At the end, click on Ok button and begin your Outlook profile in Safe Mode.

  1. Change Outlook Connection Status:

First you have to open your Outlook profile and go to the upper-right hand side of the screen, and there you will find the option of ‘Connected’. In case, you do not find this option this means, the error related to the server status. If you are working Offline, then go to the ‘Send/ Receive’ tab. From drop down options, you have to select the option of ‘Work Offline’.  Then just right-click on the ‘Work Offline’ option and then click on the ‘Disable’ option. When the internet is accessible and then you can change the status from ‘Offline’ to ‘Online’. After this, you can go to the outbox folder and then just resend the stuck emails. And check the issue is solved or not.

  1. Clear Old Stuck Emails:

You should Start the Outlook and then sign in to your account with correct login details. After this, go to the ‘Send/ Receive’ tab and then double-click on it. Then you should select the ‘Work Offline’ option and also enable the feature to prevent all the emails. Now just go to the ‘Outbox’ folder and open it. Here press ‘Shift’ key and select all the emails, and then click on the right cursor and click on ‘Move’ option. You have to Move the selected emails to the ‘Draft’ folder.  You should open ‘Email Message’ and delete it, and just resize it before clicking on the ‘Resend’ option. Then right-click on the selected emails and tap on the ‘Delete’ option. After this, go back to the ‘Send/ Receive’ folder and select the ‘Work Offline’ option. Now you should disable the feature to prevent Outlook from blocking send emails.
