How to Turn Word AutoCorrect Feature On and Off?

This feature is turned on by default in Word, but you can turn on or off this feature. If you want to toggle AutoComplete on and off, then you should visit to the File tab, and then choose Options. Now in the Word Options dialog box, you need to select Proofing. Then in the AutoCorrect options section, you should select the AutoCorrect Options button. Here in the AutoCorrect dialog box, you have to select the AutoCorrect tab. At this point, you should clear the check box for the function which you wish to disable:

How you can Add, Change, or Remove an Entry from the AutoCorrect List?

Microsoft Word has a list of misspelled words. Here, you can add custom words, change existing entries, or you can delete entries from the AutoCorrect list. If you want to add words to the AutoComplete tab, then Word will suggests you the words which you begin to type. For this, you should visit to the File tab, and then choose Options. Now in the Word Options dialog box, you need to select Proofing. Then in the AutoCorrect options section, you should select the AutoCorrect Options button. After this, in the AutoCorrect dialog box you should visit to the AutoCorrect tab. In the Replace text box, you have to type a word or phrase which you mistype or misspell. At this point in the With text box, you have to type the correct spelling of the word. Here, you have to select Add. Then, the Word will automatically correct the spelling which you have misspell or mistype. Now, you need to select an entry which you wish to change in the list and then just type a new entry in the With box. After this, you should select Replace option to make the change. Here, you need to select Yes option in order to confirm which you want to change the entry. Then, you have to choose an entry which you want to remove in the list, then you should select Delete option in order to remove the entry. Next, you should select OK button if you want to close the AutoCorrect dialog box. At last, you should select OK button in order to close the Word Options dialog box.
