How You Can Vertically Align Text in MS Word? - www.office.com/setup

 Sometimes, user wants to vertically align the text in Microsoft Word Application but they find it a bit confusing. For support, the user can call the support team of Microsoft anytime via www.office.com/setup.


 Vertically Align Text in Word:

For Microsoft Word 2019, 2016, 2013, 2010, and 2007:

For this, first you have to open the Word document in which you wish to vertically align the text. Then, you should go to the Layout tab or Page Layout according to the version of Word. Now in the Page Setup group, you should select the Page Setup dialog launcher which is present in the lower-right side of the group. Here in the Page Setup dialog box, you should choose the Layout tab. After this, in the Page section you should select the Vertical alignment drop-down arrow and also you should select either Top, Center, Justified, or Bottom. If in case, you select Justified, then the text is spread from top to bottom. At last, you should select OK button. And now the text will be aligned just the way you selected.

For Word 2003:

If you want to vertically align the text in Microsoft Word 2003. Then, you should select File and then choose Page Setup. Now, in the Page Setup dialog box, you should select Layout. After this, you should select the Vertical alignment drop-down arrow and then select either Top, Center, Justified, or Bottom. At last, you should select OK button.

Vertically Align Part of a Word Document:

If in case, the user wants to change the alignment of only part of the document, then you should select the text which you wish to vertically align. www.office.com/setup

To vertically align part of a document, you should select the text which you want to vertically align. Then, you should go to the Layout tab or Page Layout, according to the version of Word application. Here in the Page Setup group, you should select the Page Setup dialog launcher which is present in the lower-right side of the group. Now, in the Page Setup dialog box, you should choose the Layout tab. After this, in the Page section, you should select the Vertical alignment drop-down arrow and then just choose an alignment. Next in the Preview section, you should select the Apply to drop-down arrow and then just choose Selected text. At this point, you should select OK button just to apply the alignment of the selected text. Now the text which you selected has the existing alignment choices.

But if in case, you don't select the text to initiate the alignment selection, then the Selected text preference will be according to the cursor's current location to the end of the document.

For this, you should position the cursor, and then go to the Layout tab or Page Layout, according to the version of Word. Then in the Page Setup group, you should select the Page Setup dialog launcher which is present in the lower-right side of the group. Here in the Page Setup dialog box, you should choose the Layout tab. Next in the Page section, you should select the Vertical alignment drop-down arrow and then choose an alignment. At this point, in the Preview section, you should select the Apply to drop-down arrow and then choose This point forward. At last, you should select OK button just to apply the alignment to the text.
